Has it already been a week since the last blog? Man, time is flying, and there just doesn’t seem to be enough of it. Christmas is only 4 days away, and Daddy is going crazy trying to get ready! So far, Ben has only had to observe one Christmas-related meltdown, when Mommy and Daddy just couldn’t get the Christmas tree to stay in its stand AND give Ben the attention he demanded at the same time. With Ben’s screaming, and Mommy’s stressing, Daddy was 2 seconds away from putting the tree out on the curb with the trash. Luckily Poppop and Nana came to the rescue and gave us a hand. Gram has also saved us by helping with dishes and laundry when she comes over to watch Ben during the day. I really don’t know what we would do without them.
Through it all, Ben has been a great sport, tagging along on shopping trips and amusing himself on his blanket while Mom and Dad run around trying to get things ready. No matter how hectic things get, a smile from him always helps to slow everything back down. I can’t remember the last night I went to sleep before 1 a.m., but it will all be worth it when we watch Ben tear into his very first present.
Sorry this post is a short one, but there are presents to wrap and stockings to be hung. In the meantime, check out what has been keeping Daddy extra busy lately: creating the annual holiday card for his office. Make sure you have your volume turned up and click here:

We would like to wish everyone a very Merry and safe Christmas! If you are all good little boys and girls I think Santa will have a stocking full of Christmas pictures to share with you next week!
Merry Christmas!
